History of the Cremer Gruppe

Peter Cremer started his own business as a grain trader in 1946. His company took its first, far-sighted step towards becoming a globally active trading and production enterprise as long ago as the 1960s, when it founded its feedstock production companies in Thailand and Indonesia.

With its companies contributing at the various stages of production, the Cremer Gruppe has developed from there into an international specialist in the trade, processing and transport of agricultural products, at the same time as becoming a developer and producer of oleochemical products.

To this day the company has remained in family hands, having passed from father to sons, and is run from Hamburg by Stefan and Thomas Cremer as second-generation business partners.

Cremer's policy has from the outset laid great store on responsible and reliable management, flexibility and innovative ideas.
